Pay Child Support
Most child support payments are required to come from employers withholding income from paychecks.
Under some circumstances, you pay child support directly to ORS. Most often, people pay this way when they are self-employed or making extra payments.

Payment Fees
Some ways of paying come with fees. These include payments made with cash, debit or credit cards, or electronic checks (e-checks).
For ongoing child support payments, ORS recommends using methods of payment with no fees or only minimal ones.
Automatic payment withdrawal has no fees. Paying by mail using a valid check or money order has no fees. Many banks do not charge fees for using their automatic bill payment systems.
Your employer may charge a fee of up to $25 for the cost of setting up income withholding for the first time. After that, the employer will not charge a fee.
Payment Processing Times
ORS processes all payments as promptly as possible.
You may have to wait 3 to 5 business days before payments made with credit cards, debit cards, cash, or e-checks are posted to your ORS case.
ORS may hold payments over $2,500 for 21 calendar days so the funds can clear.
