Locate Parents

To establish or collect child support, we have to know the locations of both parents. 

Since most cases are opened by one of the parents, we normally need to find only one other parent.  Some child support cases start with relatives or legal guardians, so sometimes we have to find both parents. 

We use many methods to locate parents. These include electronic tools that access up-to-date data from across the country.

Usually, the other person or people on the child support case are our best sources.
